Art Classes Roswell, GA.

Why does an artist experience a certain amount of fear when trying something new in art? I think one of the reasons is that we feel vulnerable and that we might not do a good job. When faced with doing something new, we realize what we don't know. It can be intimidating.

The only way to make new discoveries in art is to try something that you've never done before. I love making new discoveries and seeing where they'll take me. I still believe that growing as an artist is one of the best journeys an artist can take!

Continue to push yourself and challenge the boundaries of what you think you're capable of doing, because you're capable of doing much more than you think! And, when you try something new, you might become frustrated. Just remember, if you don't give up, the thing that frustrates you the most is the very place that you're going to find your greatest breakthrough. This is my own personal experience and I'm sure many of my students and other artists can relate to it.

I presented my Monday night class with the Einstein challenge. It was an exercise in loosening up. I painted a demo and everyone did their thing. I'll show the whole group of paintings when my other two students are finished. I love seeing how unique each students work is!
