Hello to all my students. I hope this update finds you doing well. It's been a trying year for all of us and I've certainly missed seeing your smiling faces each and every week!
I just received word from Google after June, they won't be sending this blog out in email form. The only way someone will be able to read it is if you type the address in and look it up. I'm sorry to hear this because I've been blogging here for many years and have a good number of followers.
I've heard from many of you over the past year. Some of you have been painting and others have not quite felt the inspiration. At first, I was so stunned by the pandemic that I didn't even pick up my brush. However, gradually, I began studying new areas of art and when I picked up my brush, I couldn't put it down. I'm working with water mixable oils right now so that I can paint en-plein-air. There's so much to art that living a thousand years wouldn't be enough time to explore it all.
As an update, in the fall, I'm considering teaching several classes. I would love to hear from you if you're interested in returning to class. Right now, I'm thinking about teaching one night class for my students who work and one morning class. Please either text me or send me an email through my website.
