I teach drawing and painting for both teens and adults.  I'm looking to put a teen art class together for the summer and of course this could continue into the fall and next year.  It's up to you.  Learning to draw and paint is extremely beneficial for teens.  It helps to create confidence, self-esteem and skills a person never knew they had.

Whether your teen is a former art student or someone who's interested in learning to draw or paint, I'd love for you to visit my website to learn more about what I'm doing.  I'll only be taking six or seven students in each class.  You can read what my students have to say about taking classes with me. I've been working on a very challenging painting this week.  Every time I put my canvas on my easel and pick up my brush, I feel a little paralyzed and chained.  But, when I start moving my brush around the tough areas of the composition, the chains eventually turn into silk threads and I'm seeing something beautiful unfold.  The journey of an artist's life is not without difficulties, but nothing worth achieving is ever easy.  - Jill Saur
